Basketball Recap: CSTHEA Snags 14th Victory in Last 18 Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Notre Dame, CSTHEA was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 72-55 win over Tennessee Heat. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-50 two weeks ago.

Leading CSTHEA to victory were Wesley Mason Deschaine and Ryan Swanson. Deschaine went 9 for 12 en route to 25 points, while Swanson went 9 of 13 on his way to 20 points and seven boards. That's the most points Deschaine has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Silas Fincher, who went 5 for 6 to rack up 10 points.

CSTHEA has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 18 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points over those games. As for Tennessee Heat, their loss dropped their record down to 18-13.
