Volleyball Recap: H&H Takes a Loss

H&H was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Superior Wildcats.

Riley Quiring paced H&H's offense, picking up seven kills. Quiring got some help from Ava Hurt and her 15 assists. Sophia Schulze controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

H&H's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Superior, they moved to 2-21 with that victory, which also ended their 19-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, H&H will venture away from home to square off against Doniphan-Trumbull at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Superior will be paying especially close attention to the Bearcats' matchup: after the Bearcats face off against Giltner, they'll take on Superior again at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
