Volleyball Recap: Garretson Takes a Loss

Garretson was the 3-0 winner over Beresford when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Dragons lost 3-0 to the Watchdogs on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Dragons have suffered against the Watchdogs since August 29, 2019.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Garretson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brielle Weir had seven digs and two aces.

Garretson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Beresford, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Garretson and Beresford will both be playing Baltic the next time they take the court. The Watchdogs will head out to face the Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Blue Dragons will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
