There's no place like home for Forestview, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 61-55 win over the Kings Mountain Mountaineers on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Mountaineers back in January, they had to take a 65-61 loss.

Forestview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alex Helton led the charge by going 7-for-15 en route to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Thompson, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

Several Mountaineers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Daniel, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 13 points. The dominant performance also gave Daniel a new career-high in blocks (two). Silas Tate was another key player, putting up eight points and six assists.

Forestview's record now sits at 10-13. As for Kings Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

Forestview has already played their next matchup, a 79-70 victory against Stuart W. Cramer on the 14th. As for Kings Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-63 defeat against Crest on the 14th.
