Football Recap: Cambridge/Salem vs. Rensselaer/Loudonville Christian Rams        
        
		
             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton, Cambridge/Salem was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They really took it to the Rensselaer/Loudonville Christian Rams for the full four quarters, racking up  a  58-0 win at home. Considering Cambridge/Salem has won three matches by more than 34  points this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Cambridge/Salem was led to victory by  Jackson Rowland and  Baxter Mattson.  Rowland rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, while  Mattson rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.  Preston Peabody was in the mix  as well, providing Cambridge/Salem with two touchdowns.
 Cambridge/Salem didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Cooper Saddlemire and  Isaiah Lohret.
 Cambridge/Salem's victory was  their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Rensselaer/Loudonville Christian,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge/Salem will challenge Stillwater at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Cambridge/Salem's defense has only allowed 11.2  points per game  this season, so Stillwater's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Rensselaer/Loudonville Christian, they will take on Greenwich at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Greenwich will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something Rensselaer/Loudonville Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
