Sumter was the 2-1 winner over South Florence when they last played one another back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Sumter Gamecocks fell 2-0 to the South Florence Bruins on Friday. The Gamecocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sumter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for South Florence, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Sumter wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Spring Valley on the 11th. As for South Florence, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Crestwood on the 11th.
