Basketball Recap: Big Valley Christian Beats Rio Vista for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Big Valley Christian extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Titus Boone. The Big Valley Christian Lions took down the Rio Vista Rams 70-52 on Friday thanks in part to Boone, who went 11 for 20 on his way to 27 points in addition to eight assists and six boards. The match was his eighth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Titus Beers, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 boards. He has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times he's played.

Big Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Rio Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Big Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-25 victory against Turlock Christian on the 14th. As for Rio Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Vanguard College Prep on the 14th.
