After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Union Pines, Southern Lee was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Triton Hawks. The result was nothing new for Southern Lee, who have now won 11 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Triton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Hickman, Lluvia Rubio, and Elizabeth Harrington.

The victory snapped Southern Lee's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-6-1 record. As for Triton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Lee will head out to take on Swansboro at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Triton, they will venture away from home to face off against Western Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Triton will need to watch out since Western Alamance have now posted at least four goals in their last six contests.
