Jonesboro had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hurricane have posted since April 17, 2024.

Jonesboro's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for North Little Rock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jonesboro and North Little Rock will both be playing Conway the next time they take the field. The Charging Wildcats will host the Wampus Cats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Hurricane will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
