Basketball Recap: Chickasha Has No Trouble Against Clinton

Chickasha won the last time they faced Clinton and things went their way on Friday too. The Chickasha Fighting Chicks put the hurt on the Clinton Red Tornadoes with a sharp 54-34 victory. Given the Fighting Chicks' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Red Tornadoes are ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chickasha has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Clinton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chickasha has already played their next game (against Tuttle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Clinton will face off against Cache at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
