Basketball Recap: Celina Takes a Loss

Celina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Panther Creek Panthers, falling 70-46. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 380th, while the Panthers are ranked 83rd).

Celina's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Panther Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Celina will venture away from home to take on Lake Dallas at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Dallas will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Celina surely won't give up without a fight. As for Panther Creek, they will be playing at home against Van Alstyne at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
