Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy dropped their record down to 8-6 on Saturday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Seward Bluejays by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Cheatham, who went 3-for-6 with one stolen base and one double.

As for Seward, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch.

On Seward's side, Connor Sveeggen tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over eight innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave Sveeggen a new career-high.
