Soccer Recap: Springfield Has No Trouble Against Clay

Springfield kept a clean sheet against Clay on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Eagles. Springfield might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Clay from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kyle Mortus led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Springfield and bumps their season record up to 13-1-1. As for Clay, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-3.
