Volleyball Recap: North Gwinnett Comes Up Short

North Gwinnett lost against St. Pius X Catholic back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Golden Lions.

St. Pius X Catholic was led to victory by Eveliina Campbell and Sofia Ziran. Campbell had six assists and three aces, while Ziran had 11 digs and three aces. What's more, Ziran also posted a 50% hitting percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in October of 2024.

North Gwinnett now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Pius X Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

North Gwinnett didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against South Forsyth on the 12th. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against North Cobb on the 9th.
