Baseball Game Preview: Century Centurions vs. Anaheim Colonists

The Century Centurions will head out to face off against the Anaheim Colonists at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Century is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Century's offense. They came up short against Ontario Christian on Wednesday, falling 11-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Centurions have suffered since February 23, 2024.

Meanwhile, Anaheim came up short against Orange on Friday and fell 11-7.

Maddox Gramajo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Randy Rojas, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Anaheim dropped their record down to 6-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Century, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Century was able to grind out a solid win over Anaheim in their previous meeting back in March, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Centurions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
