Baseball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy and Lincoln pushed the score to 11-9 the last time they played Lincoln, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Commanders fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 2-1. The Commanders have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Kennedy will venture away from home to take on Aurora Central at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lincoln, they will welcome DSST: Montview at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
