Volleyball Recap: Liberty Common Comes Up Short

Liberty Common was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Weldon Valley Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Liberty Common's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Weldon Valley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty Common will venture away from home to take on Estes Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weldon Valley, they will challenge Sedgwick County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
