Football Recap: Austin Arave's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Blackfoot over Madison + How To Watch

If Blackfoot was feeling good fresh off their 41-12 takedown of Pocatello last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Broncos took a 32-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Bobcats on Friday. The Broncos lost against the Bobcats in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 49-0 score last time.

Blackfoot lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Austin Arave, who threw for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Blackfoot's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Madison, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Blackfoot will take on Bonneville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against Thunder Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Bobcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
