Volleyball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the West Delaware Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-22. As for West Delaware, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Waterloo West on the 30th. West Delaware has also already played their next matchup (against Solon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
