New Waverly lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Onalaska, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Wildcats on Friday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

The win (which was New Waverly's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Onalaska, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-7.

Looking ahead, New Waverly is taking a road trip to face off against Anderson-Shiro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Onalaska, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Douglass at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
