Basketball Recap: Idea Pflugerville Wins Going Away Against IDEA Round Rock Tech

On Tuesday, the Idea Pflugerville Wizards got the win against the IDEA Round Rock Tech Thunderbirds by a conclusive 55-29. The Wizards have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 23 points or more this season.

Kabari Mitchell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 29 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Idea Pflugerville's points. Jermori Mercer was another key player, posting eight points.

Idea Pflugerville now has a winning record of 5-4. As for IDEA Round Rock Tech, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Founders Classical Academy the next time they take the court. Idea Pflugerville will host Founders Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while IDEA Round Rock Tech will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on January 17th.
