Volleyball Recap: Los Osos Grizzlies vs. Chino Hills Huskies
Los Osos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Chino Hills Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.
Los Osos started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-13, 25-13, 25-13.
It was another big night for Sean Spicer, who had 32 kills, eight digs, three aces, and one block for Chino Hills. Spicer is crushing it when it comes to kills: he's had at least six every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Anthony Sabbara, who had 32 assists and three digs.
Los Osos' defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Chino Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.
