Soccer Recap: Lake Highland Prep Gets the Win

Lake Highland Prep had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders who were credited with the victory on Wednesday. The Lake Highland Prep Highlanders got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Calvary Christian Warriors's six. Given the Highlanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Warriors are ranked 47th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Highland Prep's one-goal win came courtesy of Brooks Jaffe, who's now up to four this season.

The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three games.
