Baseball Recap: Springville Triumphs

Springville won the last time they faced Marengo and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 10-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Springville let Cole Dixon and Hunter Fulmer run wild. Dixon went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run, while Fulmer went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Those two hits gave Fulmer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gabe McCain, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Springville's record now sits at 11-8. As for Marengo, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Springville will be playing in front of their home fans against Corner at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marengo, they will head out to square off against Hixson at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday.
