Ruston strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 76-68 win over the Tualatin Timberwolves.

Ruston's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Tualatin, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. After both having extra time off, Ruston and Calvary Baptist Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. The Bearcats will need to watch out since the Cavaliers have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Tualatin, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clackamas at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
