Soccer Recap: Mae Jemison Takes a Loss

Mae Jemison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 12-0 to the Hazel Green Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Mae Jemison's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hazel Green, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Mae Jemison challenge Brooks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Brooks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Mae Jemison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hazel Green, they will head out to take on Scottsboro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hazel Green will be up against Scottsboro's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
