Volleyball Game Preview: Gulf Coast Sharks vs. Riverdale Raiders + How To Watch

The Gulf Coast Sharks will face off against the Riverdale Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Gulf Coast is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Naples as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-17.

Julianna Argueta and Kayleigh Delaney were among the main playmakers for Gulf Coast as the former had eight digs and two aces and the latter had four digs and two aces. That's the most digs Delaney has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Gulf Coast was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. They are a perfect 17-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Riverdale got the win against Fort Myers on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Green Wave recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Gulf Coast's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Riverdale, their win bumped their record up to 16-11.

Gulf Coast took their victory against Riverdale in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Sharks repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
