Baseball Recap: Dickson Takes a Loss

Dickson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Rush Springs Redskins, falling 11-5.

Austin Hart made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Dickson's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Rush Springs, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Dickson will face off against Ardmore at 5:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for Rush Springs, they will square off against Luther at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Rush Springs knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Luther likes a good challenge.
