Volleyball Recap: Beamer Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Beamer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Kentlake Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Beamer was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-22, 25-11.

Lauren Williams paced Beamer's offense, picking up six kills. Williams got some help from Annette Sagale and her seven assists. Sagale was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Beamer's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Kentlake, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Beamer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Decatur on the 13th. As for Kentlake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Jefferson on the 13th.
