Fountain Valley won the last time they faced Godinez Fundamental and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Fountain Valley Barons were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies. The win was familiar territory for the Barons, who have now won four games in a row.

Fountain Valley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-16.

Fountain Valley pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Godinez Fundamental, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-6.

Coming up, Fountain Valley will be playing at home against Marina at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give Fountain Valley their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Godinez Fundamental, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairmont Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
