Basketball Game Preview: Meadowdale Lions vs. Bethel Bees

The Meadowdale Lions will face off against the Bethel Bees at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Wednesday, Meadowdale didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Belmont, but they still walked away with a 49-44 victory. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Bethel entered their tilt with Miami East on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 41-31. The score was all tied up 13-13 at the break, but the Bees were the better team in the second half.

Bethel's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points over those games. As for Meadowdale, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Meadowdale strolled past Bethel when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 79-60. Will Meadowdale repeat their success, or does Bethel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
