Softball Recap: Valley City Takes a Loss

Valley City fell victim to Sheyenne and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 40-0. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Hi-Liners' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Valley City now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sheyenne, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley City will host Fargo South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hi-Liners are facing the Bruins at the right time seeing as the Bruins are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sheyenne, they will take on Fargo North at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
