Baseball Recap: Indian Creek Takes a Loss

Indian Creek has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.17 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came up short against the St. Clairsville Red Devils, falling 12-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Redskins have suffered since April 26th.

Ty Householder made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Another player making a difference was Hunter Rusnak, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Indian Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for St. Clairsville, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.

While Indian Creek had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
