Football Recap: Hickman County Bulldogs vs. Summertown Eagles
Hickman County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 26-12 to the Summertown Eagles. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Summertown's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Stoll, who threw for 144 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes, and also rushed for 45 yards. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards. 89 of those passing yards were hauled in by Logan Love, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Hickman County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Summertown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
