Volleyball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Herbert Hoover Huskies.

Avery Bland paced University's offense, picking up seven kills. Bland got some help from Alexis Oravec and her 15 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Braelyn Adkins, who had ten digs and two assists.

University's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Herbert Hoover, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0-1.

University didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Hampshire on the 26th. As for Herbert Hoover, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Oak Glen on the 23rd.
