Softball Recap: Bibb County Takes a Loss

Bibb County managed to slip by Hueytown the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bibb County Choctaws lost 16-1 to the Hueytown Golden Gophers on Friday. The Choctaws were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Gophers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2015.

Bibb County's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Hueytown, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Bibb County will square off against McAdory at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hueytown has already played their next contest (against West Blocton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
