Basketball Recap: Ebarb Comes Up Short

Ebarb lost against Anacoco two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ebarb Rebels lost 55-35 to the Anacoco Indians. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Indians are ranked 39th).

Ebarb's loss dropped their record down to 16-21. As for Anacoco, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Ebarb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-49 defeat against Pleasant Hill on the 14th. As for Anacoco, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 48-44 loss against Pitkin on the 14th.
