Grand Ledge and Okemos are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Comets will be home for the holidays to greet the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grand Ledge has given up an average of 63.8 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Grand Ledge came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting East Lansing an easy 64-44 win. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Trojans are ranked second).

Meanwhile, Okemos was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 51-47 to Williamston. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Okemos' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Grand Ledge, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

Grand Ledge came out on top in a nail-biter against Okemos when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 42-39. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
