Reese Price Delivers Best Performance of Season

Reese Price produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wren to the win on Friday. Price rushed for 206 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 107 or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

This season, Price has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 137.6 rushing yards per game.

Colten Bagwell Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, Wren got the W thanks in part to Colten Bagwell playing the best football he has all season. Bagwell threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.

Unfortunately for Fountain Inn, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Bagwell. When Bagwell last faced the Fury back in September of 2023, he rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 93 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing.

Will Thompson Puts an End to Laurens' Losing Streak on Friday

Laurens's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Will Thompson. Thompson was unstoppable on Friday, rushing for 16 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 129 yards on ten of 16 attempts.

Laurens' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Thompson and Laurens will face off against Wren at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Emerald had to settle for second on Friday, but Christian Foster sure wasn't going down easily. Westside had no answer to Foster as he made seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Emerald is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. Foster and Emerald will square off against Southside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Laurens' Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Javaye Suber

Javaye Suber helped snap Laurens's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Suber turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, making two total tackles.
