Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brandon walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Zephyrhills Bulldogs 54-0. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory (which was Brandon's third in a row) raised their record to 6-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.7 points on average over those games. As for Zephyrhills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Brandon will square off against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 13, the Patriots 10.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Zephyrhills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
