Baseball Recap: Forest Hills Northern Snags Ninth Win in Last 12 Games

Forest Hills Northern came out on top against Christian on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Huskies walked away with a 7-4 win over the Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-3 on Tuesday.

Daniel Conrad made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Forest Hills Northern is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 9-10 otherwise. Conrad was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Forest Hills Northern has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Forest Hills Northern will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
