Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DePaul Catholic). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Bogota Buccaneers 83-50. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 296th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

With the win, DePaul Catholic broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6. As for Bogota, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

DePaul Catholic has already played their next game, a 53-50 loss against Wayne Hills on the 21st. Bogota has also already played their next matchup (against St. Mary), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
