Volleyball Recap: Excelsior Springs' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Excelsior Springs entered their tilt with Raytown South on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Cardinals 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Excelsior Springs never let Raytown South on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-7, 25-15.

Jordin Price paced Excelsior Springs' offense, picking up 15 kills. Price got some help from Lillah Shue and her 29 assists. Maya Watkins controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Excelsior Springs' record now sits at 6-11-1. As for Raytown South, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Excelsior Springs and Raytown South could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Tigers will challenge Smithville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (261 vs. 31). Meanwhile, Raytown South (ranked 369th) will meet Kearney (ranked 76th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
