Softball Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee suffered their biggest defeat since April 17th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wahconah Regional Warriors, falling 9-1. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Lee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Lynch, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Lee's record is now 7-7. As for Wahconah Regional, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee will challenge Amherst-Pelham Regional at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wahconah Regional, they will square off against Frontier Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Hawks have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
