Basketball Recap: Tyro Christian Comes Up Short

Tyro Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-44 loss at the hands of the Oswego Indians.

Oswego found their leader in freshman Madison Foster, who went 16 for 27 on her way to 33 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Foster has scored all season. Kodi Trimble was another key player, putting up 11 points along with seven assists and six boards.

Tyro Christian now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Oswego, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tyro Christian will square off against Cookson Hills Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oswego, they will face off against Altoona-Midway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oswego has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three matches.
