Soccer Recap: Western Comes Up Short

If Western was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Hastings on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell just short of the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Western of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Western's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-2.

Looking ahead, Western will venture away from home to take on Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they have already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Lutheran on the 8th.
