Volleyball Recap: Ketcham Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ketcham can now relate to. They came up short against the North Rockland Raiders on Friday, falling 3-0. The Storm were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Ketcham was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 25-14.

Julia Martin paced Ketcham's offense, picking up ten kills. Martin got some help from Jordan Carmichael and her 18 assists. Finally, Elana Patterson kept Ketcham's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Ketcham's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for North Rockland, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

As of now, neither Ketcham nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
