Volleyball Recap: Mason Takes a Loss

Mason was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Laingsburg Wolfpack. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolfpack earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Mason was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Laingsburg work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-25.

Mason's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Laingsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9-2.

When Mason and Laingsburg next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Bulldogs will take on Durand and their five-game winning streak at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Laingsburg will try to stop Williamston's three-game winning streak when they meet at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
