Soccer Recap: Strathmore Takes a Loss

Strathmore lost against Lindsay back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Strathmore Spartans came up short against the Lindsay Cardinals, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 884th, while the Cardinals are ranked 21st).

Strathmore's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-8-4. As for Lindsay, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Woodlake the next time they take the pitch. Lindsay will host Woodlake at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Strathmore will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
