Softball Recap: Frontier Cougars vs. Bridgeport Bulldogs
Frontier is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Bridgeport on Tuesday, but Bridgeport came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Cougars came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bulldogs. The two-run effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Kaycee Berentz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.
